My name is Brenson and I have purchased several ponds for my backyard and I invite you to join me on this exciting oneMedakatravel. Although I have kept fish in buckets before, I have never exposed them to the outside air for extended periods of time. Despite the sweltering heat, I was able to successfully spawn some beautiful fish including Blue Miyuki Medaka Ricefish, Daisy's Ricefish, Black/Midnight Medaka Ricefish and Medaka Koi Ricefish. The Purple Mosaic and Assorted Guppies also made their outdoor debut and thrived in their new environment. As I watched the natural ecosystem at work, I gained a new appreciation for nature and its ability to keep pests in check. Although I am happy with the results, I am concerned about the presence of dragonfly larvae or leeches in the ponds. I've even caught a cat fishing in one of the ponds, so I'm careful to minimize light at night to ensure the safety of my fish.
